Settlin'

We're on the 3rd day of 2011, and so far so good. Just when I got used to 2010, 2011 comes barging in (in a good way, sort of). Realized true friends, gained friends as family, and some have gone without keeping in touch - exactly opposite of what they've promised. Like cliche says - 'you gain some, you lose some'. Though saying goes, I still see that my losses as gains. Only loss I'd never want to face is my duties, family, and sanity (knock on wood for all three).

A huge highlight of 2010 for me is this.

A dream becoming tangible in a form a hoody thanks to Mau (for the most part), Kuya Mark, Pat, and Isa. It was, I believe early 2008, that Ugly Hero stuck to me. For about two years of doodling and brainstorming designs for logos and pieces in class, a very good and dear friend I've gotten close to this recent year has not only made my dream tangible, but revived via motivation. Her name is Maureen Coloma. And I'm deeply honored to have met her - Truly my Hero, but not Ugly.

So now, I bring up the fact that my facebook account will be soon deactivated. And I don't know when I'll have it reactivated. If you're askin' - it's just cus. For those that know, know for a reason. I can network the way people did decades ago, not that I have anything against it, but because circumstances require me to.
