Fix.

I've finally decided to build a fixie for myself. A lot of people would scoff at the idea. I know it's been one of the biggest hype lately, but I couldn't care less about how much crap other fixie heads would give me. Since I've had two bikes in the backyard on the brink of rusting (some parts actually being completely rusted), I figured salvaging them would be a great idea. It'd be my fix (pun completely intended, hah). It's also a reward I'm giving myself because of how well this semester went...and because I have to build it from the bottom-up slowly, it'll be more rewarding when I finish it. I've already decided how it's going to look like. Simple, but off the hook.

Current:

K2 mtb Frame (stripped off f/r brakes, derailleurs, levers, etc) + fresh chains + flip-flop hub + 17t cog + new tires and tubes

Future:

crankset + free-wheel 22t cog + new fork (suspension) + seat + paint job

I'm taking baby steps so she'll be definitely done by summer.

I think I'll name her Sabrina.
