Belated Post

But it wasn't a belated celebration. Mom's birthday was on Dec 11th and since I couldn't really get her anything extravegant, I figured going out for some *taho would make her smile a little bit...and it did so I'm really glad. I remember when I was a kid in the Philippines, my mom would get me to run outside the house with my cup when the taho guy would make his rounds around the block (btw, this was the only time I would run when I was a kid...being that I was extra husky).

Just wanted to say that she's been the one of the biggest influence and hero (along with my dad). I couldn't be more thankful.

P.S. *taho - an enjoyable dessert beverage consisting of bean curd in sweet syrup. Doesn't sound quite enticing, but it is. Taho courtesy of Chowking =]
