West brings it to another direction.

Despite the discussions and debates about defining Hip-Hop, Kanye's truly put his soul down for this one. 808s & Heartbreak wasn't meant to break record sales or meet standards. Remember, this is music and for true musicians, it's the outlet to express, release, and expose. The rest is change in the pocket. He took his pain and expressed it - released it through this album - exposing that he, too, is human not immune to pain. His music bumped through College Dropout, Late Registration, and Graduation. His shit was iller than the definition itself. There's no saying that he's at all near his downfall (if it exists at all). I guess the big talk about this new one is that he doesn't sound like how everybody was used to hearing him. That he changed. He didn't change - people's perceptions were changed. It's just a matter of looking beyond the genre categorization and the auto-tune voice distortion. I'm just saying, respecting him through this one and absorb the lyrics before becoming a critic. This album's him. Love it or hate. Pick it up and Listen.

p.s. Bump it.
